Dr. Carina Fürst

Dr. Carina Fürst has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 as an intern at The University of British Columbia. Dr. Carina then worked as an intern at Medizinische Universität Innsbruck in 2012. In 2014, they began their research career at Max Delbrück Center, where they first served as a PhD student until 2019 and then as a Postdoctoral Researcher until 2020. In 2020, they participated in a Data Science Bootcamp at SPICED Academy. Dr. Carina then joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Visiting Associate for a brief period in 2020 before becoming a Junior Consultant from 2021 to 2022. Dr. Fürst continued their tenure at BCG as a Consultant until 2023. Currently, they serve as the Chief of Staff at PROJECT EADEN.

Dr. Carina Fürst holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bielefeld University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Dr. Carina then pursued a Master of Science degree in Integrative Neuroscience from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, completing their studies from 2011 to 2014. Dr. Fürst furthered their education at Freie Universität Berlin, where they earned a Doctorate of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) in Biology from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Fürst has obtained various certifications in areas such as project management, leadership and management, design thinking, regulatory affairs, and pharmacovigilance from reputable institutions such as Kompetenzia International, hfp consulting, InnovationLabs.Berlin, PHARMA AKADEMIE, and DiaMed. Dr. Carina was also recognized as a winner and a top-three participant in the PANDA Digital 2021 Contest.
