Project for Pride in Living (PPL)
Denise Goldman is an accomplished educator and administrator with extensive experience in teaching and project management. Currently serving as the Site Director for the Reengagement Center at Project for Pride in Living since November 2021, Denise focuses on integrating secondary education and career training for young adults without high school diplomas. Prior to this role, Denise held positions such as Project Manager at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, where efforts were concentrated on increasing access to social services for families, and High School Coordinator at Upper Mississippi Academy, leading innovative programs within a collaborative team. Denise's teaching background includes roles as a Language Arts teacher at various educational institutions, complemented by early career experience as an owner and lead designer of a communication design firm. Denise holds a Master of Education in English Education from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Northwestern University.
