Matt Voors

As Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, Matt leads the legal, compliance, and information security operations for Project Lead The Way. In this role, Matt advises PLTW on legal and compliance strategies, providing counsel and tactical cross functional thought partnership to support PLTW’s mission and growth and impact goals. He manages PLTW’s general legal and litigation matters, as well as contractual and regulatory compliance. Matt also leads PLTW’s Information Security Team, which was instrumental in the organization’s successful efforts to obtain ISO 27001 certification in 2021.

Prior to joining PLTW, Matt practiced at Frost Brown Todd in the firm’s business and construction litigation practice groups and represented national, regional, and local clients in litigation, regulatory compliance, and contract and commercial matters. Following his time in private practice, Matt served the State of Indiana as the Executive Director of the Indiana State Board of Education, General Counsel for the Indiana Department of Education, Senate Majority Counsel for the Indiana State Senate, and Chief Legal Counsel for the Indiana Department of Transportation.

Matt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana.
