Raphael Ani

Raphael Ani has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Raphael is currently serving as the Global Business Development Lead (Construction) at the Project Management Institute since 2021. Prior to that, Raphael worked at Telefonica where they held two positions. From 2019 to 2020, they were the Head of External Commercialisation & Business Development at Wayra UK, overseeing the commercialization strategy for Telefonica's Startup Investments in the UK. Additionally, from 2017 to 2019, they served as the Head of Intelligent Mobility Programme at Wayra UK, leading a program aimed at attracting and supporting disruptive startups in the transport industry. Before their time at Telefonica, Raphael worked at KPMG UK as the Head of Africa Practice from 2014 to 2017, focusing on assisting clients exploring opportunities in Africa. Raphael also worked as a Data & Analytics consultant in the IT Advisory Practice at KPMG UK from 2013 to 2014. Prior to KPMG, Raphael held project management roles in financial forecasting and consolidation systems at Logicalis from 2012 to 2013, and in EPM consulting at BG Group in 2009 and Travelport in 2009. Raphael began their career as an Analyst in EPM at IBM from 2007 to 2009.

Raphael Ani has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from IE Business School. Additionally, they completed an MBA Exchange program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
