Carlos Alvarez is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching and training across various educational settings. Currently serving as a Training Instructor for the California Association of Peer Supporters at Project Return Peer Support Network since July 2024, Carlos previously worked as a Middle School History Teacher in the Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program at Pasadena Unified School District from December 2017 to October 2024. Other roles include instructing the Green Janitor Education Program at Building Skills Partnership and serving as a Family Trainer at CFY, where Carlos facilitated digital learning workshops. Carlos's background also features leadership roles such as Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Valiente College Preparatory, along with various teaching positions at Celerity Educational Group, Aspire Public Schools, Crown Preparatory Academy, and ICEF Public Schools. Carlos holds a Master of Education in Bilingual and Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies from UC San Diego.
