Nakisha Hicks

Nakisha Hicks, MBA, PHR, serves as the President of The ElevateHer, providing HR consulting and executive coaching to organizations and individuals, particularly within vulnerable communities and for Black women in HR roles. Nakisha also holds current roles as an Executive Coach with LEAD Tennessee and Athena Alliance, focusing on leadership development for current and emerging leaders and women's advancement in leadership. Additionally, Nakisha acts as a Fractional Chief Human Resources Officer for Project Return Tennessee, emphasizing resources for individuals reintegrating into society post-incarceration. Previous experience includes executive-level HR leadership at the Nashville Symphony and various HR roles within the State of Tennessee. Nakisha possesses a robust academic background with an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
