Matthew Combs

Matthew Combs is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and entrepreneurship across various sectors. As Co-Founder and Director of Project Safehouse in Uganda since August 2017, Matthew has been instrumental in addressing challenges faced by children affected by conflict. Previously, as Founder and CEO of Tentacle, LLC from June 2020 to May 2025, Matthew developed a platform for information security professionals. Matthew also served as a Strategic Advisor at OfColor and held executive roles at Blackbaud and YourCause, emphasizing product development and team growth. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Marketing Technology Solutions and Nubella, as well as early roles at Obsidiana.com and Sapient. Education includes a BS in Agricultural Resources & Managerial Economics from Cornell University and a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
