Project Transition USA is dedicated to helping transitioning military and veterans find meaningful & rewarding civilian careers. We provide advanced LinkedIN training for troops, as well as personal introductions to our networks.

There has never been a time in history when support for our transitioning military and veterans has been more direly needed!

WHAT WE DO:

We're the only nonprofit specializing in helping transitioning military veterans and their dependents learn to fully utilize the powerful networking & job search technology of LinkedIN.

We also provide personal introductions at every opportunity and help them gain access to a broad spectrum of mentors providing guidance and support for a successful transition.

We are making HISTORY! We conducted the first LinkedIN Job Search Workshop on any military base in the world (MacDill Air Force Base, Home of U.S. Central Command -- Nov. 16, 2012), and we dream of seeing these trainings offered on all U.S. bases nationwide.

WHY LINKEDIN?

1) LinkedIN is the #1 employment and communication tool in the civilian world
2) Currently, 95% of recruiters use LinkedIN in their hiring process
3) LinkedIN is the wealthiest, most educated online networking site
4) At this time, LinkedIN has 500+ Million members, of which 49% are high level decision makers

We are currently seeking sponsors for our Veteran Scholarship Program. Who do YOU know?

LinkedIn has added the 'Volunteer and Causes' field that enables professionals to share the causes they are passionate about with their network. Because you care about our organization, we would appreciate you adding this to your LinkedIn profile. This will help build awareness of our work and help you strengthen your professional profile. http://www.linkedin.com/profile/edit-volunteering-combined
