Alejandra Gaytan

Alejandra Gaytan, Ed.D., currently serves as a Capacity Development Specialist at Project Vida, where responsibilities include establishing partnerships with school districts to address educational disparities and facilitating strategic planning sessions to ensure systematic changes within the organization. Prior experience includes directing programs at Con Mi MADRE, overseeing operational efficiency for over 200 participants, and previously holding the position of Program Coordinator, strengthening relationships with various stakeholders. Gaytan's background also features research roles, including work as a Research Assistant at OnRamps and Innovations and Peace for Development, alongside internships with the U.S. House of Representatives and the Texas House of Representatives. Educational qualifications encompass a Doctorate in Education from Johns Hopkins University, a Master’s in Higher Education from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the same institution.
