Jennifer Chan

Jennifer Chan is an experienced legal professional, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Clerk for Legal Matters at the New York State Unified Court System since July 2010. Prior to this role, Jennifer held the position of Staff Attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit from May 2008 to June 2010 and worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office in New York from August 2002 to May 2008, focusing on both the Asset Forfeiture Unit and the District Court Bureau. Earlier experience includes a summer internship at the United States Attorneys' Offices in May 2001 and a summer associate position at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in June 2000. Jennifer holds a Juris Doctor degree from St. John's University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Binghamton University.
