Carla Poulson serves as the Chief People Officer at ProKidney Corp. and has held the interim role of Chief People and Culture Officer at uniQure. With extensive experience in human resources, Carla previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at Mersana Therapeutics and served as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Akcea Therapeutics, which was acquired by Ionis Pharma. Additionally, Carla has been Vice President of Human Resources at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and held several key HR roles there, including Senior Director, Head of International HR, and Director of Human Resources. Carla earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
