Vice President Of Research & Development at Proliant Health & Biologicals

Chris W. has a strong background in research and development, with experience in various roles and industries. Chris started their career in 2001 as a Technical Services Lab/Regulatory Coordinator at Quest International Flavors & Fragrances. From 2003 to 2010, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in Chemical & Biological Engineering at Iowa State University, where they managed multiple research projects and supervised undergraduate and Master's students. Following their time at Iowa State University, they joined The Scripps Research Institute as a Research Associate, focusing on molecular design, protein expression, and purification. In 2013, they joined Proliant Health & Biologicals/Entera Health as a Senior Research Associate before transitioning to Proliant Biologicals in 2014. At Proliant Biologicals, they held positions as Scientist II, Senior Scientist, and currently serves as the Director Of Research Development. Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in cellular and molecular biology, protein engineering, and research project management.

Chris W. completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BSE) with Honors in Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Iowa from 1996 to 2001. Chris then pursued a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Iowa State University from 2003 to 2010.
