Sharmila Thapa Basnet

Sharmila Thapa Basnet has work experience starting in 2008 at Javra Software Nepal. Sharmila began as a Progress 4GL Developer and eventually became a Sr. Progress 4GL Developer. In 2015, they became a Team Lead at the same company. In 2016, they joined ProMark as a Senior Developer.

Sharmila Thapa Basnet completed their education in a chronological order. Sharmila began their academic journey at NIST from 1997 to 1999, where they pursued a +2 degree in Science and Technology. Sharmila then enrolled in Lord Buddha Education Foundation from 2001 to 2004 and obtained a BCA degree in Computer Science. Following this, they attended Kantipur City College (Putalisadak) from 2006 to 2009, earning a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree specializing in Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Sharmila has obtained several certifications. In October 2022, they obtained the Confluence Fundamentals Badge from Mark Information and Atlassian.
