Scott Schmidt

Scott Schmidt currently serves as a Board Member for Northwest Metro Robotics, where the focus is on providing equitable access to STEAM programs for K-12 students. In the role of Principal NPD Engineer at ProMed Molded Products, Scott engages with customers to identify new business opportunities and oversees technical reviews to enhance manufacturing strategies. Scott's extensive experience includes managing development projects for medical device components at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Delano, where responsibilities encompassed project management from tooling procurement to product commercialization. Previous roles include Production Coordinator at Harland Medical Systems, Design Drafter at ITW Heartland, Machine Designer at MGS Machine, and HVAC Designer at Mammoth, Inc. Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from St Mary's University and an AAS in Mechanical Engineering and Design from Alexandria Technical and Community College.
