Irina Vyazunova is a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience in molecular biology and genetics, currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Promega Corporation since July 2012. Specializing in diagnostics and genetic identity, Irina has responsibilities that include the manufacture and quality control testing of short tandem repeat (STR) chemistry products. Previous roles involved research on the effects of radiation in leukemia through a NASA-funded project and identifying tumor suppressor genes in gliomas at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
