Pierce Fortin

Pierce Fortin has worked in the technology industry since 2009. In 2009, they began working as a Student Computer/ Help Desk Technician for Fitchburg Public Schools. From 2010 to 2012, they worked for iRemedy Technology Solutions as a Field Services Technician and PC & Network Tech. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Systems Administrator + Lvl. 2 Field Engineer for ProTechs Solutions. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Technology Consultant for Woods Ambulance. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Lead System Engineer for OneShield. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Director, IT and Security and a DevOps & IT Manager for Symphony Talent. Currently, they are the Director Of Technology Operations for Promenade Group, where they are responsible for developing a technical roadmap for the DevOps team, setting up 24/7 monitoring and alerting, executing the company-wide global cybersecurity strategy, and more.

Pierce Fortin attended Fitchburg High School from 2007 to 2011, where they studied Sciences and Technology. In 2016, they obtained two certifications from VMware: VCA-DCV and VMware Certified Professional 5: Datacenter Virtualization. Pierce has also earned a Bachelor of Science in Network Operations and Security from Western Governors University.
