Olivier Maes

Olivier MAES, PMP, currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Program Manager at PROMÉTHÉE Earth Intelligence since June 2022. Prior to this role, Olivier was a Space System Project Manager at Airbus Defence and Space from February 2021 to June 2022, focusing on Earth observation systems within the Earth Observation, Navigation and Science programme. Olivier's extensive experience at Airbus Defence and Space from November 2008 to March 2021 included roles as Industrial Operations Manager and Project Management Office, Project Manager for Satellite Assembly Integration and Test, and involvement in transnational product transfer and system engineering for AIT projects. Earlier experience includes serving as Instruments Test Engineer at Centre National d'Études Spatiales from July 2003 to October 2008. Olivier holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ENSEIRB-MATMECA and completed a leadership development program at ISAE-SUPAERO in 2018.
