Alona Lubovnaya

Alona Lubovnaya has a wealth of work experience in product management, product operations, and compliance. Alona began their career in 2012 as the Product Operations Director and Head of Customer Service at expresscoin. In this role, they were responsible for regulatory compliance and deployed an internal proprietary database that managed and processed over 30,000 customers and their transactions annually. In 2015, they moved to truBrain as an Operations employee. In 2016, they worked as a Blockchain Consultant. From 2017-2019, they worked at Ambisafe as the Director of Product & Product Compliance. In this role, they were responsible for the business and marketing compliance of 6 products across the organization and reduced retail client churn on exchange platform by 20%. Alona also reduced contracting to execution time from 8 to 2 days. In 2019, they joined Bitcoin Depot as the Director of Product Operations. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining internal and external facing products, defining product feature requirements and stories, identifying cost saving and revenue generating opportunities, and working cross-functionally to build and execute product release/roll-out plan. Alona is currently employed at Prometheum as a Product Manager.

Alona Lubovnaya is currently enrolled in a User Experience Design program at General Assembly, which they are expected to complete in 2021. In 2020, they obtained a Certification in Product Management from General Assembly. Alona also attended Santa Monica College, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist from ACAMS and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance.
