Rob McGinnis

Rob McGinnis has extensive work experience as a founder and CEO in the technology industry. Rob is currently working as a Global Innovator at the World Economic Forum since May 2022. Prior to this, they founded Prometheus in December 2018 and served as the CEO. Before that, they founded and served as the CEO of Mattershift starting from January 2013. Their career started at Oasys Water in May 2008, where they served as the founder and CTO until July 2012.

Rob McGinnis attended Yale University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Theater. Rob later pursued further education at Yale, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Engineering. In 2019, they also spent time at Y Combinator, although no specific degree or field of study is indicated for that period.
