Martin Brink

Martin Brink has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology field. Martin currently serves as a DevOps Tech Lead at Prominent Edge, starting in 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Sofia Information Technology Consulting (SofiaITC) as the CTO from February 2018 to August 2021, where they provided recommendations on technology implementation and maintained internal infrastructure. Before that, Martin was the Senior Operations Manager for Software Development at Maxar Technologies from January 2016 to August 2021. In this role, they acted as a tech lead for the Geohive crowd-sourced imagery classification capability and played a key role in winning contracts for the company. Martin also recruited and interviewed new candidates. Martin also held the position of Director of Information Technology at Aristilaw, PLLC from January 2018 to February 2021. Additionally, they worked as an Application Architect at SOE Software from May 2014 to December 2015, where they designed and implemented a Windows UWP based pollbook application. Martin also worked at DMZ Solutions Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2013 to May 2014 and at Intelligent Software Solutions as a Software Engineer from August 2010 to April 2013. Martin's early work experience includes being a Senior Unix System Engineer at Northrop Grumman from August 2006 to August 2010, where they were responsible for maintaining and integrating the Global Command and Control System - Joint for the CENTCOM Area of Interest. Martin developed customized tools in Java to facilitate administration and integration.

Martin Brink has a diverse education history. Starting in 1991, they earned their high school diploma from River Ridge High School, where they completed their studies in 1995. Following this, Martin obtained a Top Secret Security Clearance SSBI from the United States Army in November 1995. Continuing their education, they attended the University of Florida from 1999 to 2001, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Martin's academic journey continued at St. Petersburg College from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Engineering. Most recently, they attended the University of South Florida from 2020 to 2022, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. In addition to their formal education, Martin received a Security + certification from CompTIA in April 2016.
