Sofia Hughes

Sofia Hughes currently serves as the Grants Manager for Facilitating Access to Coordinated Transportation (FACT), overseeing grant writing, management, and reporting for a nonprofit focused on accessible transportation, operating with an annual budget of $4 million. Additionally, Sofia is a Major Gifts Officer at Promises2Kids, where responsibilities include maximizing revenue from current donors and engaging new constituents, contributing significantly to the major gift budget and the organization’s annual growth. Prior to these roles, Sofia was the Director of Residential Programs at WRC from 2020 until June 2023. Sofia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University, earned between 2013 and 2017.
