Maria Teresa Villena Ramirez

Maria Teresa Villena Ramirez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international trade and economic relations. Currently serving as the Director of PROMPERÚ in Chile and Mexico since November 2017, Maria Teresa has previously held key positions at the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, managing commercial offices in Mexico and Ecuador from August 2013 to June 2019. Maria Teresa's earlier roles include Counselor for Economic and Commercial Affairs in Ecuador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Executive Director at various chambers of commerce, including the Peruvian-Ecuadorian, Peruvian-Venezuelan, and Peruvian-Bolivian Integration Chambers. MARIA TERESA has a strong academic background with degrees in Economics and International Trade from Universidad Particular Ricardo Palma, complemented by diplomas in International Trade Negotiations and Economic Integration.
