Scott Fortin (he/him) has a long and varied work experience in software development. Scott began their career at BioTools Incorporated in 1995, where they served as the CTO and was responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of software projects. Scott then moved to Pocket Kings in 2008, where they ran a small remote development office and was the team lead and lead developer on a number of projects. In 2012, they co-founded Jawfish Games and served as the Principle Architect, designing and implementing the backend server architecture and game analytics. Finally, in 2014, they joined Prompt.io\u2122 as the Lead Software Developer, working on a cloud-based, distributed service based architecture for messaging.
Scott Fortin attended the University of Alberta from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a BSc in Computer Science.
