Dalya Pevzner

Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Pronto Diagnostics

Dalya Pevzner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Currently, they work as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Pronto Diagnostics, a leader in Molecular Diagnostics since January 2021. Prior to this, Dalya worked as a Research Assistant at Hebrew University of Jerusalem - Hadassah from April 2015 to December 2020, where they conducted research on mental disorders at a psychiatric biology laboratory.

In addition to their research role, Dalya served as a Laboratory Instructor at Hadassah Academic College from October 2017 to February 2019, where they provided instruction in laboratory practices. They also worked as a Mentor at Tnufa: Matriculation, Doing Research from November 2017 to December 2018.

Dalya gained valuable experience as an Intern at University Hospital Essen in September 2018, where they participated in fMRI experiments and attended an ataxia clinic.

Prior to their academic and research roles, Dalya worked as a Solderer at RAD in 2014 and 2011.

Dalya also has relevant experience in leadership roles, having served as a Project Manager and Psychotechnical Evaluator in the Israel Defense Forces from March 2013 to January 2014 and from January 2012 to January 2014, respectively.

Dalya Pevzner began their education journey at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Sciences, General from 2014 to 2017. Dalya further pursued their studies at the same university and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from 2017 to 2020.

In addition to their academic degrees, Dalya has obtained various certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Dalya completed the "Bioinformatics Capstone: Big Data in Biology" and "Bioinformatics Specialization" programs at the University of California San Diego, offered through Coursera, in November 2022. Dalya also completed several other bioinformatics courses, including "Finding Mutations in DNA and Proteins," "Genomic Data Science and Clustering," "Molecular Evolution," "Comparing Genes, Proteins, and Genomes," "Finding Hidden Messages in DNA," and "Genome Sequencing," all in April and October 2022.

Furthermore, Dalya received the certification of a certified researcher in experimentation low from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment in March 2019. Dalya also attended the 14th World Congress on Controversies in Neurology organized by the CONy Congress in November 2020.
