Yan Agaev

Yan Agaev has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.

Yan started working as the Operations Manager and Marketing Director at Abco Technology in 2005, where they successfully increased the company's monthly revenue and developed the web development arm of the business. Yan was later promoted to Operations Director.

In 2007, Yan became the Managing Partner of eVocal, where they managed day-to-day operations including events, apparel production, branding, and boutique operations.

In 2010, they founded SOAR Nation, an online platform for philanthropy, where they built the web platform and established a warehouse/distribution space. Yan spent three years fundraising for charities and promoting the concept of philanthro-consumerism.

In 2012, Yan co-founded CBAtelier, a creative services agency focused on fashion, along with Christopher Bevans. They formed the agency as a structure for investment and capitalized on Bevans' network and opportunities.

From 2015, Yan worked as the Managing Director at THE PRGRM, overseeing the creation, renovation, and management of two restaurant/bars. Yan was responsible for concept development, menu development, staff training, marketing, budget management, and events management.

In 2019, Yan joined Proof Media Mix as a Brand Educator.

Most recently, in 2020, they were elected as President of USBG Socal and developed PROJECT CORNERSTORE, a grocery support system for unemployed hospitality professionals. Through this initiative, they organized weekly distribution of groceries from multiple locations in LA County, distributing over 100k lbs of groceries.

Yan Agaev began their education in 2000 at Rutgers University, where they studied Economics. Yan attended the university for two years until 2002. In the same year, Yan Agaev transferred to UCLA and pursued a degree in Business/Managerial Economics. Yan completed their studies at UCLA in 2004, obtaining an extended degree.
