Jennifer K. Henry has a long and varied work experience. Jennifer K. began their career in 1995 as the Executive Director at Making Waves. In 2001, they were the Founding Executive Director at the Academy for Urban School Leadership, where they raised over $4M of private and public funding in just 18 months. In 2006, they became Chief Program and Cities Officer at New Leaders for New Schools, where they administered the team's $16M budget and met an annual revenue goal of $14M. In 2014, they were a Senior Fellow at Pahara Institute, conducting research on macro-trends of centralization and decentralization in the history of US education. In 2015, they were Founding SVP, Global Coaching Network and Academics at OneUni, Inc., where they partnered with the founding team members to hire talent, build product strategy, and grow operations. In 2017, they were SVP, Career Services at Trilogy Education Services, where they scaled the career services function through rapid growth. In 2019, they were SVP, Workforce Engagement at 2U, where they headed a 100+ global team and oversaw growth of a robust employer partner network. Currently, they are SVP, Employer Engagement at Proof of Learn, a Web3 education platform with a mission to unlock accessible, high quality education across the world through blockchain and a learn-to-earn protocol.
Jennifer K. Henry attended The Branson School from 1987 to 1991. Jennifer K. then went on to Georgetown University where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in American/United States Studies/Civilization in 1995. In 1999, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with a focus in Finance, Marketing and Strategy.
