Guy Katznelson

Guy Katznelson is an experienced R&D Engineer Manager currently leading the Engine Team at Proofpoint since February 2020, overseeing a backend team of seven engineers focused on upstream data sourcing and cloud application integration for cloud security products. Katznelson has developed a distributed event stream processing system that supports millions of users and handles hundreds of millions of events daily. Previously, Katznelson held the position of Senior Software Engineer at both Kaltura and Gigya, contributing to high-scale streaming platforms and user management systems. Katznelson started the professional career as a Software Engineer at Fourtec and has experience as a QA Engineer and Teaching Assistant at IDC Herzliya. Katznelson earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Reichman University.
