Barberousse Guillaume

Barberousse Guillaume currently serves as the Director of Sustainable Development at PROPARCO since September 2016, overseeing the Sustainability department which encompasses ESG, Impact, Technical Assistance, and Blending divisions. As a member of Proparco's executive committee and the Board of EDFI MC, Barberousse contributes significantly to organizational strategy. Prior roles at Proparco include Responsable Banques et Marchés Financiers and Regional Representative for Turkey, the Middle East, Caucasus, and Central Asia. Earlier experience includes Deputy Head of Manufacturing and Agribusiness, along with a background in Risk and Portfolio Management at BNP Paribas Corporate Finance, where Barberousse held the position of Head of the Business Valuation Team. Barberousse holds a Master’s degree in Finance from ESCP Business School and a prior degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Toulouse.
