Johann Choux

Johann Choux is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment and management roles, currently serving as the Regional Director for both Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean, as well as the Andean Region at Proparco since October 2013. In this capacity, Johann leads the origination and development of new investments across various sectors including renewable energy and healthcare. Previous positions include Head of Equity Investments focusing on financial institutions and venture capital, and Senior Investment Officer specializing in banking and capital markets. Johann has also worked at PwC as a Manager in Valuation & Economics, and held positions at Boursorama, Natixis Securities, Societe Generale, and Deloitte, showcasing a diverse background in equity research, business development, and financial auditing. Johann holds a Master in Management, Finance from EDHEC Business School and has furthered education at Tilburg University and the CFA Institute.
