Kristena Wozniak

Kristena Wozniak joins Propeller with over a decade of Accounting and Finance experience ranging from Big 4 audit to managing the entire financial function of an ad tech start-up. Her career began with KPMG in the Department of Professional Practice with the firm’s top partners on various research projects, technical inquiries, and firm-wide guidance.

After KPMG, Kristena worked for Universal Music Group’s Global Consolidation department reporting to the Global CFO. It was during her term at Universal that Kristena realized her desire to get closer to the pulse of the business. She longed for senior management involvement and to play a direct role in business decision making through FP&A, which led her to the start-up world. She served as the Director of Finance for Lime Labs LLC, where she had the opportunity to travel to New Dehli India to meet the team that she managed from New York.

In 2011 she joined Appssavvy, where she navigated a complete business pivot, potential acquisition, and tight cash flow situation. During her last year at Appssavvy she was introduced to Chris Fenster, who would later hire her for her current position as Director at Propeller Industries! Her whirlwind experience with start-ups allows her to easily identify vital KPI’s for a variety of businesses and identify investor/Founder deliverables.

Born and raised in Buffalo, NY (Go Bills & Sabres!), Kristena graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in Accounting.
