Ivan Lagiglia

Ivan Lagiglia has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries.

Ivan is currently working as a Software Engineer at Proper since February 2022.

Before that, they worked at Mercado Libre, where they held various positions from 2016 to 2022. Ivan started as a Senior Software Engineer, working on the reputation system used in the marketplace. Later, they became a Software Technical Lead, responsible for creating and maintaining a system that calculates costs and delivery time of item packages.

Prior to Mercado Libre, Ivan worked at ARRIS from 2013 to 2016. There, they served as an Architect and Product Owner, where they collaborated with distributed teams to evolve product architecture and understand customer needs. Ivan also held the position of Staff Software Engineer/Architect, responsible for bug fixing, design, and deployment of JAVA Enterprise applications.

Their earlier experience includes working at Motorola as a Software Engineer from 2007 to 2013. Ivan was involved in bug fixing, development of JAVA and C applications, and also served as a member of the Security Council.

Ivan began their career as a Software Engineer at Sitrack Argentina S.A. from 2006 to 2007, followed by a position at Rlink S.A. as a Software Engineer. In these roles, they developed Java applications, administered Linux servers, and configured routing and firewalls.

Ivan Lagiglia attended Universidad de Mendoza from 1997 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering.
