Yosmerilyn Rodriguez has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Yosmerilyn began their career as a Restaurant Crew Member at Shake Shack in 2014, followed by a Team Member role at Pret A Manger in 2015, where they were promoted to Head Barista. In 2018, they were a Gallery Attendant at the Whitney Museum of American Art. In 2019, they worked as an Artist Assistant for Angel Otero, a Studio Assistant for Laetitia Soulier, a Gallery Lead and Accessibility Coordinator, Educator at Poster House. Most recently, they have been a Showroom Lead (Supervisor) and Showroom Client Advisor at Proper Cloth since 2021. In their roles, they have been responsible for taking measurements and assisting clients with creating their custom clothing sizes, educating clients on style, fabrics, design, and customization options, building partnerships with organizations, fostering relationships with Neurodiverse individuals, creating virtual monthly programming for the low vision and blind community, connecting with visitors, generating membership sales, guiding customers through the sign-up process, preserving a clean and organized studio space, preparing materials for the artist to use, moving, lifting, and carrying artwork, materials, tools, directing the daily operations of the shop, creating rapport with customers, motivating the team, serving customers politely and efficiently, building relationships with repeat customers, organizing and stocking the shop floor, preparing, cooking, plating foods, cleaning and maintaining eating areas, work stations, and equipment, and conversing comfortably with customers.

Yosmerilyn Rodriguez attended The City College of New York from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine and Studio Arts.
