Matthew Weinberg

President, Regulatory Services at ProPharma Group

Matthew Weinberg is the ProPharma Group President of Regulatory Services. In this role, he is both responsible for the growth of regulatory efforts worldwide and the specific growth of The Weinberg Group. His tasks include strategic planning, marketing, business development, and overall coordination of worldwide regulatory efforts.

Prior to the acquisition by the ProPharma Group, Matthew was with the Weinberg Group from 1986-2019. He was responsible for all aspects of the firm’s growth and its movement into the regulatory arena. He led the firm in its expansion into non-US markets and into aligned market segments such as GMP and SCP auditing.

Matthew is also heavily involved in a number of community efforts. He is a graduate of the Wexner Heritage Program and has served on the boards of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, the Bender Jewish Community Center, and the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, as the chairing a number of task forces and community efforts. He is also the Founder and Chair Emeritus of BuildingSteps, a 501C3 helping underserved city youth get into and go to college.

He has a BS in Industrial Administration and Management, a double major in Economics from Carnegie-Mellon University, and an MS Industrial Administration from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie-Mellon.
