Anastasiya Lazareva

Anastasiya Lazareva is a highly experienced technology professional currently serving as a Staff AI Engineer at Prophecy since August 2025. Previously, Anastasiya held the position of Senior Software Engineer (ML/AI) at Box, where responsibilities included developing a RAG pipeline and leading the Tech for an Agentic AI platform. Anastasiya has extensive expertise in data science and engineering, demonstrated through roles at Lucid Design Group, where a unified data-science platform was developed, and Element Analytics, where an industrial IoT time-series data platform was engineered. Educational achievements include a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Environmental Science & Management from UC Santa Barbara, along with a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Mathematics from UC San Diego.
