Adel Bennaceur

Adel BENNACEUR is a Computer Vision Engineer at PROPHESEE since February 2024, specializing in algorithm development for event cameras, including the creation of deep learning models for optical flow and video frame interpolation to enhance mobile photography. Previously, Adel worked as a Research Intern at Adobe, contributing to a digital material capture system for the HP Captis device and Adobe Substance 3D Sampler. This role involved implementing auto-focus and image alignment systems, as well as utilizing advanced imaging techniques to extract PBR textures. In early 2023, Adel interned at LATMOS Laboratoire Atmosphères, Observations Spatiales, proposing an innovative U-Net model for rain rate estimation and optimizing a PyTorch codebase. Additionally, a prior internship at Snap Inc. involved developing a face detection model for AR glasses, which successfully surpassed performance benchmarks. Adel holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Télécom SudParis and another Master's in Autonomous Systems from Université Paris-Saclay, following a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from IGEE.
