Olivier Georget

Olivier Georget has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Olivier currently serves as a Senior Software Engineer at PROPHESEE since April 2021. Before that, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Canal TP from February 2018 to September 2021.

In 2017, Olivier took a break to travel the world for 300 days, crossing 17 countries. During this time, they documented their adventures on a blog.

Prior to their travels, Olivier worked as a Software Developer Engineer at Amazon from November 2012 to October 2016. Olivier also served as a Graduate Research Engineer at Imagination Technologies from August 2010 to October 2012.

In their earlier career, Olivier worked at ALTEN as a Software Engineer from February 2010 to August 2010. ALTEN is a consulting company specializing in engineering, technology, and consulting services.

Olivier's career began with a 6-month internship at Silicon worlds, where they worked as an R&D Software Developer. Olivier focused on the implementation of a new real-time Earth rendering engine using various programming languages and tools such as C++, Ogre3D, HLSL, and Visual Studio.

Olivier's first work experience was as a PHP/MySQL developer at Forsup, where they completed a 4-month internship for the validation of their Bachelor's degree. Olivier primarily worked on upgrading, debugging, and providing support for XTender, a software designed for public bidding.

Olivier Georget completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines from 2004 to 2006. Olivier then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Graphics and Computer Science at ESGI from 2006 to 2009.
