Wen-Chieh Hsieh

Wen-Chieh Hsieh has a diverse range of work experiences in the field of data science and research. Wen-Chieh started their career as a Part-time Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the Graduate Institute of Space Science at the National Central University in 2004. During this time, they contributed to various research projects and conducted statistical analyses.

In 2006, Hsieh became a Full-time Assistant at the same institute, participating in international collaborations and developing plans for space technology.

In 2009, they worked as an Instructor for IDL programming at the Institute of Space Science at the National Central University.

From 2009 to 2015, Hsieh worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Part-time Research Assistant at the Graduate Institute of Space Science. Wen-Chieh focused on data collection, processing, and analysis, as well as presenting project results and conducting statistical analyses.

In 2015, Hsieh joined ProphetStor Data Services, Inc. as a Data Scientist. Wen-Chieh was responsible for developing analytical methods and tools, contributing to data mining architectures, and making recommendations on data mining products and services.

In 2019, Hsieh took on the role of Project Manager & Data Scientist at AiTRIX Ocean Technology Ltd. Wen-Chieh worked on the development and delivery of a blind audio source separation system and an autonomous underwater vehicle. Wen-Chieh also collaborated with industry and academia.

In 2020, Hsieh returned to ProphetStor Data Services, Inc. as a Data Scientist and AI Engineer. Their responsibilities included developing time-series prediction algorithms and building and implementing What-If models. Wen-Chieh also worked on resolving issues in the field.

Wen-Chieh Hsieh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Science from the Department of Atmospheric Science at National Central University in Taiwan. Wen-Chieh then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Space Science at the Graduate Institute of Space Science at the same university. After completing their Master's degree, they continued their studies and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Space Science from the Graduate Institute of Space Science at National Central University. In addition to their academic achievements, they also obtained a TOEIC certification in 2015, with scores in Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing from the Educational Testing Service.
