Victoria Schmus

Victoria Schmus has a diverse work background spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Marketing Intern at Kaplan. Victoria then went on to serve as a Front Desk employee at the KU Biodiversity Institute from July 2013 to December 2014. Following that, they had a stint as a Telecounselor and later as a Telecounselor Supervisor at The University of Kansas from March 2014 to December 2015.

In 2015, Victoria joined The Sexual Trauma & Abuse Care Center as a Community Action Team Member before transitioning to a role as an Executive Administrative Assistant at Gage Management Corp from March 2016 to August 2016. Victoria later became a Legal Assistant at SouthLaw, P.C., specializing in Judicial Foreclosure, from June 2016 to February 2017.

Victoria then worked as a Legal Support Team Specialist for Higher Education at Husch Blackwell from March 2017 to September 2017. Victoria also served as a K-3 Literacy Lab Reading Specialist as part of their role at AmeriCorps from October 2017 to January 2019.

In 2019, Victoria joined Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) as an Underage Drinking Prevention Programs Specialist. Victoria'sresponsibilities included delivering prevention programs to students and parents, managing MADD Missouri's social media, submitting accounting invoices and reports, and identifying fundraising and grant opportunities. Victoria remained in this role until October 2021.

Most recently, Victoria held positions at Propio Language Services, starting as a Global Talent Coordinator from October 2021 to August 2022. Victoria then transitioned to the role of Senior Specialist - Global Talent, where they took charge of onboarding remote interpreters worldwide, auditing compliance, collaborating on process improvements, and participating in professional development opportunities related to compliance, employment law, and software updates.

Victoria Schmus completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International/Global Studies from The University of Kansas from 2010 to 2015.
