Peter Dicampo

Peter DiCampo currently serves as Visuals Editor at ProPublica since January 2023. As Co-Founder of The Everyday Projects since September 2014, Peter played a key role in launching the Everyday Africa project in 2012, which has evolved into a prominent nonprofit in photojournalism, leading a team of five and collaborating with hundreds of photographers globally. Peter has previous experience as International Visual Editor at NPR, where responsibilities included commissioning photography and art direction, notably overseeing visual coverage of the war in Ukraine. Additional roles include Photo Researcher at AARP and Journalism Fellow at the John S. Knight Journalism Fellowships at Stanford. Peter began a career as a Peace Corps Volunteer from 2006 to 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University.
