Luca Caneparo

Luca Caneparo has held a variety of roles in the life sciences industry since 1999. From 1999 to 2000, they were a Research Assistant at University College London. In 2002, they were a Consultant at Intrapresa. From 2004 to 2005, they were a Scientific Officer at Vastox plc (now Summit Corporation plc). From 2005 to 2012, they were a Research Scholar at the California Institute of Technology, where they applied imaging technologies and modalities across different applications. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Field Application Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Life Technologies). From 2015 to 2017, they were a Field Application Specialist at bioMérieux. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Field Application Scientist at Sartorius. Since 2019, they have been a Lead Field Application Scientist at Akoya Biosciences, Inc. and, since 2020, a Global Lead, Application Specialist and Customer Success Manager at Proscia.

Luca Caneparo completed a PhD in Developmental Neurobiology from King's College London from 2000 to 2004. Luca also obtained a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Università di Pisa from 1994 to 1999, with a field of study in Biology.
