Catalina Palau

Catalina Palau has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Catalina'smost recent role was as the VP of People & Culture at Prose, a Public Benefit Corporation, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Loadsmart, a hyper-growth logistics technology company, where they served as the Head of People from February 2018 to March 2023. At Loadsmart, they founded the HR organization and led various initiatives to build the global candidate and employee lifecycle. Before Loadsmart, Catalina worked as an HR Manager at adMarketplace from February 2015 to February 2018, managing benefit programs and implementing talent assessment and organizational development initiatives. Catalina started their career as a Human Resources Intern at DeAcero in December 2014. Catalina also gained experience in finance and accounts receivable roles at MSCI Inc. and Keyence. At MSCI Inc., they improved cash flow and prepared cash flow forecasts for executives as an Accounts Receivable professional from June 2012 to February 2014. At Keyence, they worked as an Accounts Receivable Senior Associate from August 2008 to May 2012, where they supervised a team, negotiated payment terms, and reduced expenses through supplier negotiations. Catalina began their professional journey as an Administration Coordinator at Levin Global, recruiting positions, expanding the client database, and managing international accounts receivables from February 2006 to July 2008.

Catalina Palau holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey (2000-2004). Catalina also obtained a Certificate in Finance, General from Tecnológico de Monterrey (2011-2012) and a Certificate in Leadership from Centro Panamericano de Humanidades (2002). Recently, Catalina pursued a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management and Development from New York University (2014-2015).
