Andrew Buch Sampaio

Andrew Buch Sampaio has extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as the Director of Systems Engineering and Global IT Director at Prosegur since April 2014. In this role, Andrew oversees the Global IT Department and its technology business initiatives. Previous positions include Corporate Project Manager, responsible for business development and analysis, and Technical Manager, leading R&D, training, engineering, and commissioning teams. Prior experience at Setha Indústria Eletrônica Ltda involved coordinating hardware development and working as an R&D intern focusing on firmware and electronic circuits. Additionally, Andrew has taught mathematics and physics as a professor while also holding advanced degrees in signal processing, including a PhD and a master's degree from COPPE/UFRJ, alongside an engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
