Darren Daugherty

Darren Daugherty advises senior management and boards of public and private companies on investor relations and strategic financial communications related to transactions, capital raises, executive transitions, and other crisis or special situations.

Prior to joining Prosek in 2023, Darren spent five years on the agency side, where he specialized in helping clients develop and maintain best-in-class IR programs, including guidance strategy, investor targeting, investor day preparation, ESG/sustainability initiatives, investment thesis positioning, and M&A support. He has worked with clients ranging from mega-cap to smid-cap, including newly IPO’d companies, across several industries including technology, financial services, industrials, manufacturing and energy.

Darren also has 15 years of in-house investor relations, corporate communications and finance experience in a range of industries. He served as head of investor relations and corporate communications for Diamond Offshore Drilling (NYSE: DO), a large-cap, international leader in offshore drilling, prior to its debt restructuring in 2020. He previously led investor relations for Loews Corporation (NYSE: L), a diversified holding company that owns a number of businesses and allocates capital across a broad spectrum of industries. Before joining Loews, he spent three years in AT&T’s (NYSE: T) Financial Leadership Program after completing his MBA.

He began his career in the semiconductor industry as an engineer in research and new product development.

Darren earned an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station.
