Dr. Fabian Ziegenaus

Dr. Fabian Ziegenaus has extensive work experience in the legal field, primarily focused on distribution, monetization, and technology in the media industry. Dr. Fabian began their career as a Managing Associate at Linklaters from 2010 to 2012. Dr. Fabian then worked as a Senior Associate at Allen & Overy in 2012-2013 before joining Noerr LLP as a Rechtsanwalt/Senior Associate from 2013 to 2014. Dr. Ziegenaus then transitioned to the ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, where they held various leadership positions. Dr. Fabian served as a Senior Legal Counsel from 2015 to 2018, Director Distribution Legal & Business Affairs from 2018 to 2019, Vice President Distribution Legal & Business Affairs in 2020, Vice President Distribution Legal & Rights Management from 2020 to 2023, and is currently serving as the Vice President Legal Affairs Distribution, Monetization & Tech, Media Law since 2023.

Dr. Fabian Ziegenaus began their education by completing their Bachelor's degree in Law at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 1999 to 2001. Dr. Fabian then pursued their Juris Doctorate, completing their first state exam at Freie Universität Berlin from 2001 to 2004. Dr. Fabian furthered their studies by obtaining a 2nd state exam at Kammergericht Berlin from 2005 to 2007. Dr. Ziegenaus then pursued a higher level of education, earning their LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property Law from King's College London in 2008-2009. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Jurisprudence (Dr. iur / PhD) in Intellectual Property Law at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, achieved between the years of 2009 and 2011.
