Patrick Döring

Phuoc Do is currently a Teaching Assistant for CICS 210 - Data Structures at Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences, UMass Amherst, while also serving as a Research Assistant at WSSLab since May 2024. Previously, Phuoc worked as an Undergraduate Course Assistant for CS389 - Introduction to Machine Learning at Manning College from February to May 2024 and as a Deep Learning Research Intern at The Feinstein Institutes during the summer of 2023, where pre-processed 3D FDG-PET images from Alzheimer’s Disease patients and developed a CNN model for 3D imaging that surpassed conventional machine learning methods by 17% in accuracy. Phuoc holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the same institution, expected to be completed in May 2025.
