Laura Carmona

Laura Carmona has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on managed care and network management contracting. Laura currently serves as the Vice President of Managed Care at Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc., where they oversee contract negotiations and develops initiatives to optimize revenue and patient outcomes. Prior to their current role, they worked at UnitedHealth Group for 13 years, serving as the Associate Vice President of Network Management Contracting for the Southern California market. In this position, they directed contracting and provider relations teams and was responsible for network management development strategy. Laura also has experience as the AVP of Contracting at Universal Care and as a Contract Manager at MetLife/MetraHealth.

Laura Carmona attended Pitzer College from 1980 to 1984, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
