Nikhil Hooda is currently serving as a STEM Instructor for the City of Brampton since September 2023. Alongside this role, Nikhil holds the position of Vice President and Event Coordinator at Project WIRED since November 2021, and serves as Senior Vice President at Project Earthify since February 2022. Nikhil is also an Ambassador for Prospective Medical Professionals - PuMP since January 2022, and previously led as Head of IT for Model United Nations from September 2022 to June 2023. As an Innovator at The Knowledge Society (TKS) during the same timeframe, Nikhil contributed to innovative projects. A brief tenure as a Student Researcher at the University of Toronto under Dr. Brad Bass in mid-2022 further highlights Nikhil's academic pursuits. Previous experience includes a role as a Coding Instructor at Code Ninjas Brampton South West from May to September 2022. Nikhil is pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo from 2024 to 2029, following an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program and studies at Turner Fenton Secondary School.

Prospective Medical Professionals, or PuMP for short, is a federally registered non-profit organization dedicated to connecting Canadian high school and post-secondary students to opportunities in health sciences. Founded in 2018, PuMP aims to increase the transparency of the entry process into life science career pathways, make learning experiences in the healthcare industry more accessible for high school and undergraduate students, and promote equal opportunity for all students, no matter their socioeconomic status, gender, religion or race.
