Rohan Arambepola

Rohan Arambepola's work experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Scientist at Prospective.io starting in 2022, a Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from 2021 to 2022, a Doctoral Student at the University of Oxford from 2016 to 2021, a Policy Intern at Public Health England in 2019, an Intern at Markit in 2015, and an Undergraduate Research Opportunity at Imperial College London in 2014. In their roles, they have developed machine learning models, conducted research, designed and evaluated trials, and applied statistical methods in various contexts such as malaria risk mapping, childhood vaccination outreach, human mobility during the COVID-19 pandemic, and behavioral science research and evaluation.

Rohan Arambepola pursued their education in a sequential manner. From 2012 to 2016, they attended Imperial College London, where they completed an Integrated Master in Science (MSci) degree with a specialization in Mathematics. Following this, they furthered their academic endeavors by enrolling at the University of Oxford in 2016. Rohan spent five years at Oxford, from 2016 to 2021, where they successfully obtained a DPhil degree in Applied Statistics.
