Nicola Herringer has a diverse range of work experience. Nicola is currently the Director of Teaching and Learning at Prosper Education Limited since January 2019. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder and Director of Educational Content at Maker Sense from May 2017.
Before their roles in educational technology, Nicola worked at 3P Learning, starting as a Publisher in July 2006 and eventually becoming the Head of Primary Publishing until October 2016. Nicola also served as a Teaching and Learning Specialist during October 2016 to April 2017.
Nicola began their career in education as a teacher at Wenona School from 2000 to 2005. Before that, they worked as a Preferred Supply Teacher at KOBI NAZRUL primary school from 1998 to 1999, and as a Special Needs Teacher at Greenmead School from 1997 to 1998.
Nicola Herringer began their education journey in 1992 at the University of Sydney, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Education until 1995. Following their undergraduate studies, from 2002 to 2005, Nicola obtained a Master's Degree in Technology in Education from the University of Sydney. In 2013, they completed a certification course at the Scrum Alliance and became a Certified Scrum Product Owner. Expanding their knowledge further, Nicola attended Harvard University in 2017 and 2018, focusing on Thinking and Learning in the Maker-Centred Classroom.
