Haiyan Huang

As Head of Credit Risk at Prosper Marketplace, Haiyan oversee all elements of Prosper’s credit strategy including pricing, underwriting, verification, loss-forecasting, model development, and model governance. She also oversees all credit risk aspects of new product development.

Prior to joining Prosper in 2019, Haiyan spent more than 15 years in various leadership roles in GE, HSBC and FICO, most recently as Senior Director of Card Acquisition Risk Management in Discover Financial Services.

Haiyan holds a Ph.D. in Decision Analytics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Tianjin University.

Haiyan is passionate about travel, yoga and dance. She has traveled to more than 20 countries and looks forward to traveling again after the pandemic. Haiyan lives with her family in Chicago.
